What is VDE ?

Verband der Elektrotechnik, Elektronik und Informationstechnik – more commonly known as VDE – is the Association for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies and their related sciences, technologies and applications.

The DKE German Commission for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies, a joint organization of the DIN (German Institute for Standardization) and the VDE, is the national organization responsible for creating and maintaining standards in these fields.

In electrical engineering, cables and cords are crucially important products for power distribution and energy use. Due to their important function, special attention must be paid to safety. If they are damaged, a fire hazard can be produced.

Standards developed jointly between VDE and DIN, the German Institute for Standardisation (Deutsches Institut für Normung e.V.), are promoted under the banner of DKE, the German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies. Electric cables, whose quality and safety have been monitored by regular inspections from the Verband Elektrotechnik, Elektronik und Informationstechnik (Association of Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Information Technology), or VDE for short, enjoy great acceptance across all industries both in Germany and around the world.VDE Cables are commonly used around the world for its enhanced materiel and strict quality standards resulting in high reliability.

Haoguang has approval to manufacture the below types of VDE Approved Flexible Cables:
